CORONAVIRUS AND CONGREGATIONS AT HOME/HOUSE

CORONAVIRUS AND CONGREGATIONS AT HOME/HOUSE

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah. As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu.
Praise be to Allaah; we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Sallalhu alaihi Wasalam) is His slave and Messenger.

PREAMBLE
Actually some people are subjected to:
1. Few Wives are not following husbands to pray because of pride or women should pray ALONE and in her room.
2. Some husbands are not acquiring KNOWLEDGE to lead family
3. Both husband and wives are SOMETIMES ignorant of religion
4. Others thought that individually the FAMILY members should pray etc
Based on these or above the following questions and sunnah or TRADITIONS are detailed:

1.0 Alhamdulillah!
The Chief IMAM, Kubwa KMC, IMAM AbdulRaheem has given answers to our question as follows:
Assalam Alaykum W.W.
All prayers should be observed as they are.
And Juma'at prayer should be observed 4 raka'at with intention of Zuhr.
It is advised that the prayer should be observed in congregations with family at home.
May Allah guide us and direct us to the right path, thank you.

2.0 Where should a woman stand when she prays in jamaa’ah with her husband?
*Question 13757*
i have recently got married alhumdulillah and could you tell me can one pray jamat with his wife and if so how?
Answer
Praise be to Allaah.
It is permissible for a man to lead his wife in prayer, and the woman should stand behind the man, because it is not permissible for her to stand with him, because when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) led Anas and the orphan in prayer, he made Umm Sulaym – who was the mother of Anas – stand behind them.
It is also indicated by the report narrated from Anas ibn Maalik, that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) led him and his mother or maternal aunt in prayer. He said, “He made me stand to his right and he made the woman stand behind us.” (narrated by Muslim, al-Masaajid wa Mawaadi’ al-Salaah, 1056).
Al-Kaasaani said: If there is a woman praying with the imaam, he should make her stand behind him.
Ibn Rushd al-Hafeed said: there is no dispute concerning the fact that a lone woman may pray behind the imaam and that if there is also a man present, the man should pray beside the imaam and the woman should pray behind him.

3.0 Fatwa* *Congregational Salah
*Husband and wife praying together*
*Fatwa No: 88746*
*Fatwa Date:21-10-2004 - Ramadan 8, 1425*
Question
Can a husband and wife pray side by side or should a wife pray behind her husband?
*Answer*
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
The Sunnah is that the woman should stand behind the Imaam in prayer even if it is her husband.
She should not stand to his right or left side, and this is agreed upon among the scholars of the four schools.
The evidence about this is the narration of Al-Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet SAW led the prayer with Anas Ibn Maalik and his mother Um Saleem RA.
Anas RA said: 'I and an orphan stood behind the Prophet SAW and the lady (my mother) stood behind us.'
Um Sulaym RA was the mother of Anas, yet she did not stand next to him (by his side) during prayer, rather she stood behind him. So this is an evidence that a woman should not stand next to a man in prayer.
*Allaah knows best.*

4.0 Conclusion
Coronavirus global outbreak has exposed certain couples to rules of sallah with FAMILIES.
Knowledge is paramount and we should make compulsory and redundancies to acquire ISLAMIC basic education.
Congregation is important for PRAYERS at our houses with family members with one LEADING as IMAM.
This period if coronavirus has brought all family members in one umbrella group. You need to educate all including yourself.
Women who are proud to follow their husbands in congregational prayers have MORE to learn rights of HUSBANDS and wives and children. Do not play with YOUR RELIGION
According to medical and health SERVICES, suspected coronavirus should be isolated and reported to AUTHORITIES to handle immediately.
And Allah knows BEST
JazaakAllahu khayran
