BismillahWalhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala
Rasulillah. As-Salaam AlaikumWa-RahmatullahiWa-Barakatuhu.
Praise be to Allaah; we seek His help and His forgiveness.
We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad
deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah
leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but
Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Sallalahu alaihi Wa salam) is His
slave and Messenger.

PREAMBLE
Imam Hasan al-Basri (Rahimullah) said: “Faith (Aqeedah) is
not the matter of wishes or outward appearances, rather it is that which
settles in the heart and is confirmed by one's actions.”
Protect your religion through authentic traditions or hadith
and so this article is designed as an adviser for those speakers on TV/
internet/Facebook who make Aqeedah a group issue. Presenting different variety
as many as they can. Many groups are presenting its own brand of Aqeedah and
cheating the innocent Muslim on the name of correct Aqeedah and confusing them.
They are misusing Islamic Aqeedah for branding other Muslims deviated
/Mushrik/or sometimes even Kafir. Thus, you see postings in the social media or
Facebook or internet or YouTube or WhatsApp, hadiths or traditions are not
distinguished as to been authentic or Hasan or deaf (weak) or amudu
(fabricated). Difficult to trace traditions or hadiths from all including Hanafi, Shafaee, Hanbali, Maliki, Barelvi,
deobandi, Ahle hadith, Salafi, Two groups of Kerala Sunni, 3 groups of Kerala
Salafis called as Mujahid.
Although it is very clear that Sound Aqeedah Knowledge Is
Must In Islam, We Don’t Get Trapped On These Group Speaker Network on Internet.
Please Read Aqeedatut Tahawi or any other book by Ulma e Haq of Ahle Sunnat and
understand it for once and all.
Muslim Group debaters on TV Channel/you tube/Face book
unknowingly destroying Islam under cover of true Islam.
The infighting among Muslim groups/organization/ Speakers
and orators of You Tube and Facebook on the name of Islam is the threat within
to Ummat e Muslimah. Most of the time issues are blown out of proportion.
Whenever You will ask them about infighting, They Will Say
That We have Aqeedeah difference and as Aqeedah is important than any other
things so they will justify the Allegation, Criticism And Infighting On It.
They take the refuge of Aqeedah differences. Every group
will tell that the basis of our difference is Aqeedah Matter.
Aqeedah is most important and sentimental issue for a
Muslim. So every group tries to capitalize this issue. And say that other group
Aqeedah is deviated and wrong.
In present day scenario if we analyze the Aqeedah difference
between the Sunni (other than Shia) Muslim groups all groups are accusing
others as having deviated Aqeedah.
“O you who have believed, whoever of
you should revert from his religion – Allah will bring forth [in place of them]
a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the
believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah
and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows
it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.” [Holy Quran,
Chapter 5: 54]
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah
an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and
[who] remembers Allah often. [Quran, 33: 21]

the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. (Holy Quran
Chapter 3.185)’’
INTRODUCTION
PROTECTION OF
RELIGION: PRESERVING ISLAM IS BY LEARNING IT, TEACHING IT, SPREADING IT AND
DEFENDING IT.
Protection
means: the act of protecting somebody/something; the state of
being protected.
[Oxford Advanced Learner’s
Dictionary, p: 1197]
Religion
means: the belief in the existence of a God, and the activities
that are connected with the worship of them, or in the teachings of a spiritual
leader. [Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, p:1263]
The word “deen“in Arabic means ‘religion‘in its most general
sense, the plural of which is Adyaan.
Allah said: [Holy Qur’an
Chapter 3:19].
The Religion before
Allah is Islam (submission to His will): nor did the people of the Book dissent
therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them.
But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. (19)
إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمُۗ
“Truly, the
religion with Allah is Islam”. [Holy Qur’an Chapter 3:19].
“al-Deen” (The Religion) then the intended meaning is the
religion of Islam. As Allah says in the Qur’an “Verily, the religion (al-Deen)
with God is Islam” [Holy Qur’an Chapter 3:19].
How to protect the religion?
1. BELIEF IN
THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE RELIGION:
‘Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
Once we were sitting in the company of Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
when there appeared a man dressed in very white clothes and having
extraordinary black hair. No signs of fatigue of journey appeared on him and he
was known to none of us. He sat down facing the Prophet (ﷺ)
leaning his knees against the knees of the Prophet (ﷺ)
and placing both of his palms over his two thighs and said, “O Muhammad (ﷺ)!
Tell me about Islam”. He (ﷺ)
replied, “Islam is to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but
Allah, and that Muhammad (ﷺ)
is the Messenger of Allah; that you observe Salat (prayers), pay Zakat, observe
Saum (fasting) of Ramadan and perform Hajj (pilgrimage) of the House, provided
you have resources of making journey to it.” He replied: “You have spoken the
truth.” We were surprised to see that he had asked him and confirmed the
correctness of the answers. He then enquired: “Tell me about Iman.” He (ﷺ)
said: “It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers and the
Last Day and that you believe in preordainment (destiny), its bad and good
consequences.” He said, “You have spoken the truth.” He then enquired: “Tell me
about Ihsan.” He (ﷺ)
said, “It is to worship Allah as if you are seeing Him….” [Muslim, Hadith 60]
2. ADHERENCE
TO THE FOUNDATIONS OF WORSHIP:
It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah son of ‘Umar
that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said:(The superstructure of) al-Islam is raised on five (pillars), testifying
(the fact) that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is His bondsman and
messenger, and the establishment of prayer, payment of Zakat, Pilgrimage to the
House (Ka’ba) and the fast of Ramadan.” [Muslim, Hadith 21]
3. SEEKING
KNOWLEDGE:
Allah said: [Holy Qur’an Chapter 20:114]
High above all is
Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its
revelation to thee is completed, but say "O my Lord! increase me in
knowledge." (114)
Allah said “: say: “My Lord!
Increase me in knowledge.” [Holy Qur’an Chapter 20:114]
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ)
said:”Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim” [Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith
224].
4. TEACHING
THE RELIGION:
We are encouraged to spread the teachings of God’s final
revelation by word and by deed.
Invite (all) to the
way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in
ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth, best who have
strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. (125)
Allah said: “Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of
your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the
Quran) and fair preaching”. [Holy Qur’an Chapter 16:125].
Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported: The Prophet ((ﷺ)
said, “Beware of sitting on roads (ways).” The people said: “We have but them
as sitting places.” Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said, “If you have to sit there, then observe the rights of the way”. They
asked, “What are the rights of the way?” He (ﷺ) said, “To lower your gaze (on
seeing what is illegal to look at), and (removal of harmful objects), returning
greetings, enjoining good and forbidding wrong”. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
5. DEFENDING
OF ISLAM:
Nu`man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ)
said, “The likeness of the man who observes the limits prescribed by Allah and
that of the man who transgresses them is like the people who get on board a
ship after casting lots. Some of them are in its lower deck and some of them in
its upper (deck). Those who are in its lower (deck), when they require water,
go to the occupants of the upper deck, and say to them: `If we make a hole in
the bottom of the ship, we shall not harm you.’ If they (the occupants of the
upper deck) leave them to carry out their design they all will be drowned. But
if they do not let them go ahead (with their plan), all of them will remain
safe”. [Al-Bukhari, Hadith 187].
We learn from this Hadith that the consequences of
committing acts which are forbidden in Islam.
